Hash Run 1437 - 27 OCT 08

The Halloween Hash Run is here. As per the GM's earlier message, wear a costume or face the wrath of the GM in the Hash Circle.

The Halloween Hash, Hash Run 1437 will be held at Crown of Thorns residence in Vaoala (see map). The run starts at 5:30PM. Please make an effort to arrive on-time. We don't want our ghosts and goblins getting lost in the jungle.

PROXY nomination for Mr Celebrity

Hash spies have noted a certain Hasher making a brief appearance on national TV in Australia last week. Appearing as the usual monkey that he is, he was climbing a coconut tree to impress host, Catrina Roundtree. Allegedly, "Getaway is Australia's longest-running and most popular holiday and travel program", that would have been watch by over a million Aussies last week.

Full video can be view here.

Halloween Hash on 27 OCT 08

Hash Run 1437 on Monday, 27 OCT 2008 will be the Halloween Hash. Hashers must wear costumes. Those who do not will drink down-downs. And no, as scary as it might be, dressing as yourself does not count.

Mismanagement will set the venue shortly and post it here.

On On, The GM, Eveready.

Hash Run 1436 - 20 OCT 08

Hobbes will be hosting Hash Run 1436 from his place in Lotopa - located just behind Karaoke and Eveready's (see map). In the neighborhood of Underrated, Mr. Whippy, Eveready, Karaoke and their fun crew, look for a good turnout and likely after-party.

Hash Joke 10-10-08

Hey Folks, here's something to make you laugh before the long weekend.

It's Saturday morning and Bob's just about to set off on a round of golf, when he realizes that he forgot to tell his wife that the guy who fixes the washing machine is coming around at noon. So Bob heads back to the clubhouse and phones home.

"Hello?" says a little girl's voice.

"Hi, honey, it's Daddy," says Bob. "Is Mommy near the phone?"

"No, Daddy. She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Frank."

After a brief pause, Bob says, "But you haven't got an Uncle Frank, honey!"

"Yes, I do, and he's upstairs in the bedroom with Mommy!"

"Okay, then. Here's what I want you do. Put down the phone, run upstairs and knock on the bedroom door and shout in to Mommy and Uncle Frank that my car's just pulled up outside the house."

"Okay, Daddy!" A few minutes later, the little girl comes back to the phone. "Well, I did what you said, Daddy."

"And what happened?"

"Well, Mommy jumped out of bed with no clothes on and ran around screaming, then she tripped over the rug and went out the front window and now she's all dead."

"Oh, my God! What about Uncle Frank?"

"He jumped out of bed with no clothes on too, and he was all scared and he jumped out the back window into the swimming pool. But he must have forgot that last week you took out all the water to clean it, so he hit the bottom of the swimming pool and now he's dead too."

There is a long pause.

"Swimming pool? Is this 854-7039?"

Resolution Arrives in NOV / Will Miss Monday Runs

It appears that the Resolution will miss the Monday Hash Runs on her trip to Samoa next month. She's scheduled for two Thu - Sun stays in Apia: Nov 6-9 and Nov 20-23. Here's the update we received from Flea on the HMNZS Resolution:

Hi, Sorry about the delay, the ship has been having trouble with her Email system. We will be in Apia Nov 6-9th and again 20-23rd. As yet I am not sure what commitments the ship requires of us. As far as I know I am the only hasher onboard, but have asked for an expression of interest to see who may come out of the woodwork as a potential newbee. Flea.

'Given the response to the initial announcement, am sure Mismanagement and the Hash Meres will look for ways to hook-up with the crew. We will keep you posted.

She expressed Samoa Lifeline's appreciation for the gift. With a heartfelt thanks bringing tears to many, she thanked the Hash for choosing to help their organization. She briefed the runners on the history of suicide in Samoa and Samoa's recent success in reducing suicides. There have been 12 suicides so far this year.

Godfather organized the evening's check presentation.

Wrath of the Hash Monk, Run 1433 - 29 SEP 08

It was raining Monday afternoon. Fortunately, there was only a light rain before and during the run. This scared away a number of Hashers (pansies). But the diehards were there. Even more, we had Tramp and Woman in Black visiting from Rome. It was great to see them. More, Einstein returned to enjoy the night too… but I'm getting ahead of myself.

The run was a classic jungle crawl. A fair number of falsies early in the run threw the leaders off-track. One of them took us nearly 10 minutes to figure out. Thankfully, Underrated and Snake found the sneaky paper hidden off the road in the bush. From there we entered a big cow pasture. And yes, with the rain, we soon found ourselves ankle deep in you know what. Thank goodness there were no new boots! We did the traditional crawl, trudged through the mud and cow pies, climbed over some rocks, and went along and under some barbed wired fences. Richard did a ninja dive during the run. Not to be left-out, Woman in Black did a super ninja roll too while diving through a fence! But all good things must come to an end. It was getting dark, and the Grandmaster ordered the troops to head home. On the way home, the rain hit. By the time we were back, we were wet rats. After toweling off, we grabbed some nuts, and started hitting the keg.

Things got a bit cozy. We all tucked into the garage as the rain poured. The keg was great - an excellent brew. Many of us were spending time catching-up with Tramp, Woman in Black, and Einstein before the awards. AC/DC hit the BBQ. Tony Blair got the mugs ready. Mr. Whippy poured the beers. The hosts for tonight Bits & Pieces, Goer, and their daughter (spaced the name!) were well prepared and doing all the little things you do when you host a run.

Well, after a good social, it was time for the Hash Circle. The GM dished-out the standard awards for Retreads and what not. He had a long list. It's safe to say, that everyone in the circle got hit. But that was not enough. The Hash Monk stormed the circle with a flash of orange smoke. After recovering from the choking smoke, the circle resumed. The Monk called out Bits & Pieces and Goer's daughter for naming. The monk covered her hair with the flour, some beer, and who knows what. He also prepared some strange orange liquor concoction. He handed the Hash mere a glass, announced that she will hereby be known as Blooming Luscious, we sang, and Blooming Luscious tried to drink the wicked brew. Several Hashers tried to help. After a sip each, they handed the glass to other brave/stupid Hashers to help. The Monk then went after many, Snake for being Snake, Mr. Whippy a double for blogging about the Monk (who thankfully had Tramp help for the save), and Eveready and Fang (for ???). In between, the mad Monk was taking shots of his own brew! In case you haven't guessed it yet, this brew was killer. At this point your poor substitute for a scribe, Mr. Whippy was too liquored-up to remember the details; just vaguely remember the inability to say "statistics," and repeatedly trying to knock over an empty bucket.

It was a great Hash. The Hash Monk was mean. The run was tough. The beer was cold. And the company was great. Check out the run's photos in our Hash Photo Albums.

On On! Mr. Whippy.

Do you remember more? Please click here and tell us about it!

Hash Monk Alert!

Beware Hashers.

After several beers Friday night at Headquarters #1, a few of us Hashers were assaulted with visions of the Hash Monk from long ago... yah, the bad one. This can only mean one thing: The Monk plans on disrupting the Hash Circle soon; perhaps even tomorrow. This brings back haunting memories of drinking from the gum boot, ruthless down-downs, and pure madness. This particular Monk, is the worst kind. A vengeful spirit that spares no one. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Mr. Whippy.

Hash Joke For the week

A blonde heard that milk baths would make her more beautiful, so she left a note for her milkman to leave 15 gallons of milk.

When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 1.5 gallons, so he knocked on the door to clarify the point.

The blonde came to the door and the milkman said, "I found your Note to leave 15 gallons of milk. Did you mean 1.5 gallons?" The blonde said, "I want 15 gallons of milk. I'm going to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a milk bath".

The milkman asked, "Do you want it pasteurized?"

The blonde said, "No, just up to my boobs."

Hash Run - Mon 22 Sep 08 (Tony Blair & Selena)

Talofa Hashers,

Next weeks run will be hosted by Tony Blair and Selena from their home in Tuaefu. For those of you who dont know where that is, check the map that is attached to this post. Be prepared to enter some exciting terrain and make sure to bring a change of clothes..and maybe even a flash light. This has always proven to be one of the best locations to have a hash run, so lets see some numbers and harden up, nothing like a light drizzle to cool you down on the run.

Godfather Rallies Charity Shaving

Talofa ALL HASHMEN AND MERES,

Thank you to ACDC and all for the enjoyable Hash on Monday. It never ceases to impress me how such a small number can make 'quick shift' of a 50. Amazing!

I am in favor of a AHHH Donation towards 'The Shave Your Head' campaign for such a worthy cause. The amount should be 'what we can afford' from the coffers although if Mismanagement were to consider an amount in excess of what is available then I am sure many of us coming to the next Hash can 'bolster' the numbers to a meaningful level.

The 'side show' that Lezzie, ACDC, FBI, SOB and RC are promoting involving Mustang Sally and possibly other Meres could well be an INTERESTING way of bolstering Hash $ Numbers for such a good cause.

Remember that, the ol'man might be limping these days and partly blind in one eye but I can still lend a hand as a QUALITY CONTROLLER with the use of a Magnifying Glass!

Enjoy life while you have it, with good health of course from the Hash.

Godfather.

Hash Trash for 15 Sep 08

The hash run was in Vaivase and boy what a run (not that I ran) but the On Ons after the run was one to remember (although I don’t remember too much). Because of the poor turnout (apparently due to the rain) there were only a handful of hashers and a mighty big keg to drink. Needless to say, the down down count went through the roof. In saying that, congrats to all the hashers that made an effort to come last night, the keg was uma lava pisupo! The hosts put on quite a spread considering the numbers, but thanks again to our hosts for last nights run.

There were some interesting down downs lastnight, Kareoke got a couple for having weak knees after a week in Hawaii with the GM, she had to use Godfathers car as support all night…Kiwi had a few telephonis interuptus down downs as some random lady kept calling his number..scandal if you ask me..Delicious took a few for not being able to control her younger half while the GM was away. Skananavian aka skanky, copped her share of down downs for abandoning her fellow hash meres and coming home at some odd hour of the morning (she says she was at home, just not hers.he he he) we also had some of Mustangs cousins from Australia, obviously bitter about the loss to the AB’s, but boy could they drink. Impressive! Cisco had his share of down downs for being a retard..oops, I mean retread, and for a whole lot of other things that I cant remember (too much at HQ)

Every Hasher had their share of the nectar of life as there was so much to go around, and all those that were trying their best to hide and avoid it were singled out and handed a drink for their efforts…again, thanks to the Hosts and all the hashers that made an effort to turn up regardless of the weather. For all those who didn’t make it, its hash, we run whether its raining, blowing a gale or snowing..hopefully next week we’ll have a good turn out.

Sorry if I forgot to add anything else, my memory is on blank street after HQ last night.

New Hashman "Never Drunk That Much Beer"

Was perusing the stat's for our blog (yah, I'm a geek) and guess what? I found a fantastic blog by one of our new Hashmen! He has a boatload of great photos and even a little Trash for the 25 AUG & 1 SEP runs. My favorite quote, "Funny thing is, I have never drunk that much beer..." We must be doing something right!

His and his wife's story is a great example of what makes stays in Samoa so memorable. All you need is an adventurous spirit, a smile, and a little Vailima.

Hoppy's Going Down Under!!! - Mon 25 Aug 08

Talking about going out with a BANG…..last night’s run saw a fantastic turnout of regular hashers, which were slightly outnumbered by the medical students from Old Mother England and her environs and to top it off, a special brew… Vailima Export Lager, renowned for its smooth taste, high alcohol content and ability to make people speak in many tongues in a very short amount of time…. Let alone speak to the ground in languages no one else can comprehend! LOL

Last night’s run was co-hosted by Underrated, Xrated and the departing HOPPY who shouted the potent keg.

The trot set off from Lotopa, with Poumuli, as always, leading the pack astray until SassygirlBJ found the trail heading towards the new Lotopa Ford (it wasn’t a RHD Ford). Trail ran along the river banks, nicely dotted with used diapers and rusty cans of all shapes and sizes. Poor Delicious almost lost her virginity along the same trail when a tree branch refused to let her go. Snake came to her rescue… and all this before the nectar of the Gods….lol.

Trail meandered along the dry river bed and ended up someone’s taro patch and onto the tar-sealed road at Vailoa. From there the pack headed towards the golf-course and goodness knows where-else as the walkers, including the scribe went awol as usual and took the short-cuts home. Kiwi, the hare was noticeably unimpressed when he reached base and found half the hashers already relaxing in armchairs smoking and sucking on nuts….not as sweet as Godfather’s Nuts tho!

GM called the noisy bunch for the ONONs.

Welcome to the many new boots – Medical Students. Some very fit and good looking runners in this bunch..lol.. there was even a sensitive one who liked to go for long romantic walks on the beach and watch the sunset…. Delicious offered to take this new hasher for a walk any time. Go Delicious!!!

There were only a handful of retreads to penalize and they promptly fronted up, most likely fearing a double down down of the super charged nectar.

Samoa may not have won any gold medals at the Olympics, but according to the GM, Samoa definitely got Gold Medals during the HMAS Manoora’s recent visit to Apia… the die hard, party hard girls, led by Delicious and Kuini ensured the ships company was well entertained whilst in town. Malo Party Girls. It was also whispered to the Scribe that a search party was sent out one of the nights to look for Delicious who went awol for a while…..she was just checking out the moon beams on the stilled waters of Apia…lol.

A visiting blondish Cinderella with defined biceps and the mouthy one from Wales were pulled up for wearing new boots and made to drink out of their supposedly new shoes. Thank goodness they were bloody good sports as the Scribe’s bionic eyes did not agree with the sniffer (ACDC)’s assessment, but what the heck… good for a laugh!!! Shafter encouraged them to drink more Vailima for medicinal purposes should any untoward signs appear from this exercise.

Snake was dobbed in for accusing one of the hash-men for not damn well answering his phone, when it was discovered that he had been ringing Fang (his missus) all the time. One would say this is signs of old age.

The following received their shirts – Hoppy, his 55th100th….no that’s not his age!!! Note the Sean Connery, young good looks folks… ACDC, 50th, not his age either, just the speed of his mouth when inebriated, Shafter his 500th, definitely deserving at place at RLS or Guggenheim Museum…LOL… and Delicious, her 50th as well. NO COMMENTS…LOL!!! Shafter and Hoppy both undressed and played stupid buggers after unsuccessfully trying to get Delicious to change her new shirt in front of the crowd.

Lauren, with the Technicolor shorts was penalized for washing her face and hands with the beer….serious misdemeanor here. GM and Karaeoke were dobbed in by Tony Blair for both forgetting their own wedding anniversary despite having invited TB and Selena two weeks before. Karaeoke and Delicious (whipping girl for GM) took the penalty. At this stage of the proceedings, Delicious was starting to speak several languages all at the same time…what a talented mere!!

SassygirlBJ dobbed in Under-rated for burning her after helping to cook the BBQ for him. Hobby, being the good sport that he is helped his co-host by keeping him company with an additional down down. In the meantime, Kiwi tried to incriminate Shafter, who had rcvd his third down-down and was having problems standing upright, by slipping him a sausage to eat in the circle. Shafter turned the table on Kiwi instead, after protesting that Karaeoke was trying to eat his sausage!!!

The GM called all to sing the hash national anthem in honor of our departing mate Hoppy plus threatened to give him a double down down if he did not promise to come back to Samoa.

The motley lot was later on treated to an excellent spread of chicken and fish curry with the accompaniments plus a full on BBQ. Ummm ummm very very nice spread Xrated.

If you can remember any other dirt that you want included in the hash trash, drop me a note or just leave a comment on the blog, or better still, you can write the next hash trash.. ONON!!!

HMAS Manoora Visit with AHHH - Tue 19 Aug 08

History was made last week in the 28 plus years of running Hash in Samoa. Hash was moved to a Tuesday to accommodate some visiting Aussie hashers with a drinking problem who hit the shores of Samoa salivating for the nectar of the Gods. Many an old hash man commented that it took a hash mere to change what has withstood for 28 years of running hash in Samoa. One can only say, it takes smart hash men to take notice of the meres some time… ok most of the time!!! On On SassygirlBJ!!!

There was quite some excitement as the local chapter of hashers assembled at the Maliu Mai Restaurant and Bar at Fugalei, in anticipation of some fresh blood straight off the HMAS Manoora. Finally, Jock pulled up with a ute-full of fresh blood alright, just the right sex for the meres to ogle. Some of the old hashmen whined about the lack of the female sailors in the group. Of course they brightened up when some medical students made their appearance. Pathetic could be the appropriate term here…LOL!!!

The enthusiastic trot took the runners through the swampy reclaimed area of Taufusi. Scribe, believes this is one of Snake's old stomping grounds! The group ended at the lights at AST and proceeded up the Moamoa road until the climb up to the Prayer House on Mt. Vaea. The walkers took the gentle climb whilst the fit lot were chased by the visiting sailors up the mountain. Finally as dusk fell the group started arriving back at base thirsty, sweaty and a bit smelly for their efforts.

The visitors were well taken care of, fed and consumed plenty of Vailima, drunk from the shells of Godfather's sweetest nuts in the whole of Samoa, an experience noted by the visitors as a memorable experience. Many of the sailors raved on about the friendliness of Samoa etc., and are now keen to come back again, very soon. They got many tips from the locals on etiquette, picking up sheilas from the bars… no make that, "what to look for" and "how not to get your constitution re-arranged by an irate samoan boyfriend" and how to spot the real girls from the wannabes….lol

The GM extended a warm armed force welcome to the group…was expecting all the guys to jump to attention there, but not so. Whilst the GM tried to get proceedings under way, so many of the older hash men were restless, rowdy and couldn't quite get their enthusiasm toned down as they all strutted like peacocks trying to help the GM…..phew!!!

The new boots saw some 14 or so sailors and others introduce themselves. Snake proceeded to shake hands with the former group and then stepped back in to the circle leaving the new meres wondering what was wrong with them….thanks to Lezzie who jumped in and gave each new mere a peck on the cheek with promises for more if….lol

Delicious was well dressed in Puletasi and brand spanking new boots. Delicious and a couple of the Manoora boys were made to drink out of their new boots. There were quite a few retreads, the scribe lost count.

SassygirlBJ was pulled up for her recent trip down under where she was nicknamed Paris Hilton…according to the GM, Paris is known only for being dumb blond, and her sexual escapades…. What has Sassy been up to, to earn the name. She was also given a down down for being ieresponsible and for pushing for a change of date for hash.

GM noted that Fang recently celebrated her ? birthday. Since meeting Fang some 10 or so years ago, she looked the same, was the same size and still the same age….according to the GM. Here is one mere who hasn't aged.

Kuini was asked to demonstrate her moves and the "BOD" for the visitors, to which she enthusiastically did as always.

The keg was afloat in no time with such a big turnout of thirsty and excited hashers that the Maliu Mai Restaurant folks were left wondering how their luck had turned as far as their sales was concerned. Thanks to Ring Ring for providing the venue and to Kiwi for settting the run.

At the conclusion of the awards, all the guests were invited to sample the local fare enthusiastically produced by the local hashers. Thanks everyone for making our guests feel right at home. No doubt they made the most of their stay and contributed to the vailima sales - let alone Lewinsky's Bar…..Malo Lewinsky!!!!

Next week's run will be from Underrated & Xrated's Home - with their co-Host Hoppy who has offered to shout the keg…. Well done Hoppy!!!

See you all there!!!

SassygirlBJ

Hash Trash- Fathers Day Run

Fathers Day run @ Matareva

Hashers were lucky this weekend to receive good weather for their Father Day run at Matareva. Hash started out with a good turn out considering it was a public holiday.

Snake and Fang managed to find the hash bunch a fale right in the middle of the beach which was excellent!

Snake set off early to set one of his famous runs which included everything from mud, to the jungle, and water..lots of it too..

From the stories and complaints from those that did the run, it sounded like a great one. Malo Snake...Kiwi got back early with his son from the run and got the BBQ going. Poumuli brought some of his famous spare ribs with that killer sauce (got to get him pissed to hand over the recipe) The GM kept his promise and brought that tasty turkey..boy was it good. Selena brought her famous Bolivian Steak..and the other hashers all threw in some form of chow for all to enjoy.

The hashers were starting to get a little nervous and started getting the shakes when Lewinsky turned up 2 hours late with the Keg.2 hours was obviously too long a break from the nectar of life for the Apia Hash...so to help with this, Pussy Snapper was sent up a coconut tree to collect a few nuts (hero award if you ask me) Also, an odd view, to see a white fella up in the coconut tree collecting nuts..

When Lewinsky turned up, it didn’t take long for the hash team to get the keg setup and start pouring what must have been one of the better kegs that hash has had!

Awards were thrown left right and center. They came in from all over the place, and every hasher that was present received a down down..some had a few more than they could handle as Lewinsky tried to revive an already dead coconut tree with whatever he had for lunch..Tony Blair was hit up for an early down down for not bringing the hash mugs (only 2 weeks into the job and he forgot-terrible) Lewinsky copped a down down for being 2 hours late with the keg. Snake had his share of down downs for not helping certain Hash Meres in distress, as did Pussy Snapper. The med students received a few down downs for their misdemeanors during the run and during the Hash Circle. Poumuli copped a few down downs too for not explaining the rules to the new comers. There was a lot of hand bagging during the awards, with hashers trying to DOB others in for down downs.

Hash went well on into the evening at Matareva, and then migrated to Headquarters where the real alcoholics continued to party on into the wee hours of the morning.

Big thanks again to all the Hashers that turned up for the run at Matareva. Was a great day with some sun, sea, sand, lots of mud and that nectar of life stuff.. Hope you all had a great Fathers Day and see you all at next weeks run at Taumeasina. Remember, next weeks run is on Tuesday to accommodate the Australian Navy Crew.

Dedicated Hashers Clean the BBQ

Yummy, yummy, yummy! Delta and Kara show their true Hash spirit cleaning the Hash BBQ. You can check out these photos and more using the Hash Photo Albums link under Help (see the sidebar on the left).

FYI: For those having a fit right now, relax. The BBQ is water-blasted then super-heated before each use.

Hash Run - 11th August 2008

Mahalo Apia Hashers,

This week's Fathers Day Run will be at Matareva Beach on the South Coast of Upolu. This should be an interesting run as there aren't too many roads, but lots of bush..err, for all those dodgy hasher's who like the jungle runs.

This is going to be a BYO Drinks and Food. So basically bring your Booze of your choice, and something to throw on the BBQ.

Directions: Go over the Cross Island Road and turn right when you reach Siumu, drive for about 20 - 30 mins (depending on how fast/slow you drive) and when you reach a Village called Matautu, Look out on the left hand side for the sign to Matareva Beach. Pay your $15 / $20 tala (depending on vehicle- best if you all car pool) and drive down to the beach. Map is also below...Don't forget your swimmers and see you all there!

REMEMBER, RUN STARTS AT 2PM
For those beer drinkers, Lewinsky is bringing a Keg. Pay him $15 (separate to hash cash) and you can drink from his keg instead.

HASH

RUN 14XX commenced from Lezzie’s Home, behind Hotel Millenia, Sogi. Lezzie has been MIA for a while since he finally took up serious work rather than playing the playboy. LOL. His co-host ACDC was spotted returning on the back of Pat’s (Lezzie’s bro) flashy wheels, supposedly having set the run, chasing Pat. Yeah right!!! He hadn’t even broken sweat when he returned to base prior to the start of the trot.

The trot started off where some of the meres were overheard to whine about the cold temperatures…. Yeah, 27 degrees Celcius!!! thanks to a stiff breeze blowing which would have been better suited for sailing. Trot was led by ACDC who encouraged the runners to take the long route with the “walkers and handicapped” taking the cleaner town route. Godfather was the unusual figure spotted walking with the latter group. Godfather, the true hasher that he is, decided to invest in some new boots and ignore the specialist’s advice not to run any more. You go Godfather!!! That’s the spirit!! Sassy caught up with the handicapped and aged group and helped Godfather spot the trail.

The trot returned to base to the sound of the Gypsy Pickers, courtesy of the Hamilton Boys High, who were on island a couple of weeks prior to entertain and perform at the Music for Life fundraising event plus other gigs around the country.

No un-towards behaviour was spotted during the run. The only amazing thing was that on arrival there was twice the number of people at the base compared to those that set out.

During the ON-ONs, it was discovered that some new boots from Great mother England had just arrived on island and decided to join the AHHH. Obviously, the good times experienced by previous intakes of Medical students has traveled to the nation of the stiff upper lips. Welcome new meres and hashmen from the old motherland. No doubt ACDC will be busy playing tour guide extraordinare besides many other things.

The new GM, Eveready got the proceedings underway promptly and when he pulled out his diary, there were giggles from some of the die hard hashers as the new GM resembled a new reverend with his diary of dirt on some of the hashers. A momentary pause after Lezzie turned off some lights hoping for a romantic hash circle. Sorry Lezzie, GM couldn’t see his sermon..LOL. Back on with the lights….

GM acknowledged the previous Mismanagement for a great job done for the past two and a half years. Shafter as ex GM wasn’t in the house, so SassygirlBJ, Mr. Whippy and XXX took a final down down as part of the outgoing Mismanagement.

Kuini was pulled up for entertaining the whole Niue 7’s Rugby Team the previous Saturday. According to Delicious who enlightened on other details, Kuini had also just turned 21 years, got divorced, is now single again, and one of the Niuean players who was quite smitten with this luscious hash mere, did a strip tease at one of the establishments in Apia. Delicious was then requested to keep the rest of the details to herself.

Welcome back to the Retreads, Tony Blair and Selena who been gallivanting around the globe. Tony B and Selena were also penalized for not responding to an email from the GM checking up on how they were during their travels. DUHHH!!! They were on holidays, according to TB.

SassygirlBJ nominated Mr. Whippy and Son of the Bitch for a fantastic revamp of the new Hash Blog www.apiahash.blogspot.com all are encouraged to visit the site which lists all the info about upcoming hashes, hash trash, maps (very sophisticated) and news about Samoa. Do write in your comments for goodness sake!!!

The GM then announced the rest of his new Mismanagement:

Brewmaster: Karaeoke, Hash Cash: Fang, Haberdasher: Under-rated, Hare-raiser: Snake, and Tony Blair, after being told to raise his hand, was instructed that he is the new Hash Mugs. SOTB and Mr. Whippy to continue with Administration of the Hash blog, SassygirlBJ and SOTB to Co-Scribe.

Under-rated was given an under-sized t-shirt for his 150th run.

Finally, there being no other nominations from the floor, it was the turn of the Co-Hosts and Hare, Lezzie, ACDC and FBI who reluctantly took his down down as his name had not been included as Hosts for today’s run.

Snake recommended that the first Monday of each month will be a BYO bbq stuff/salad irregardless of who is hosting. Exception of course is if someone is celebrating a birthday, wedding anniversary, divorce or whatever and chooses to host the food as well.

Lezzie, as usual wanted to do a nomination after all the awards. Well done Lezzie, for not listening, as usual.

An excellent spread was put on for all and sunder to enjoy.

Next week’s run will be hosted by Poumuli and Paul from Vaoala. Check the blog for the map, especially for the newbie’s.
